About Us

SallySally Palmer, B.A. University of Massachusetts started Revive Mindfulness, LLC. through her own personal experience with the effectiveness of mindfulness education and training for stress management. She began her education in 2010 in an 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program. The results of this program were remarkable and started her on the path of regular practice and awareness. She completed a practicum training at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness in Medicine and Society and has attended retreats at the Insight Meditation Center in Barre and Newburyport MA to deepen her practice. She also holds a certification from Mindful Schools, CA to teach curriculum for grades K-12 (2013). She is also a Certified Yoga teacher, RYT, and obtained her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Mantra Yoga Studio in Danvers under the direction of Marlena Bruno.  She is also a  resource for the North of Boston Cancer Resource group and Care Dimensions, Danvers, MA.

She continued to expand her background with ongoing training in July 2015 at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY and has a certificate in Mindful Self-Compassion and Compassion.  Besides teaching, she enjoys running, hiking and recently golf.

Sally is available to teach  at your place of business, in the community, at schools and privately. Classes for Teens and Adults are held in towns around the North Shore and Boston. She has been on the Danvers Cable Access Television network and ICAM of Ipswich.

Sally works with adults in various professions who need to unwind, release stress and develop more awareness in their personal and professional lives. She also works with people to develop better awareness and attention to their sports performance, i.e golf, baseball and basketball.

Sally has developed a specialized Stress Management curriculum to meet the needs of the participants. All curriculum is designed to be age appropriate. Her teachings take place in Fitness and Wellness Centers and specialized fitness programs for men and women. Mindful Eating is an important topic of discussion.

There is also a program for nurses and health care workers to learn how to be more focused  in patient care at the bedside. Learning how to cultivate more compassion and recognize burnout is a critical quality necessary for health care workers. Training is done in community settings and on-site for employees, at a time that is convenient, including before and after work. She is available to provide trainings to teachers on professional development.  Private classes are also available in the home and on Skype.
